THIS burns weeds in 1 day! They NEVER grow again

Claims like “this burns weeds in 1 day and they never grow again” are usually exaggerated. Many homemade weed killers can make leaves look dead quickly, but perennial weeds often grow back from their roots unless the root system is removed or the growing conditions are changed.

A few lower-toxicity weed control options:

Vinegar-based spray (for visible leaf burn)

  • 1 gallon (about 3.8 L) white vinegar (5% acetic acid)
  • 1–2 teaspoons dish soap (helps it stick to leaves)

Spray directly on weeds on a dry, sunny day. It works best on young weeds and weeds growing in cracks or gravel areas. Avoid spraying grass, flowers, or garden plants because it can damage them too.

For longer-lasting control

  • Remove the roots when pulling weeds, especially for deep-rooted plants.
  • Apply mulch to block sunlight and prevent new growth.
  • Use boiling water for weeds in pavement cracks and paths.

Be careful with recipes that use large amounts of salt: salt can kill weeds, but it can also damage soil and make it difficult for other plants to grow.

If you tell me where the weeds are (lawn, driveway cracks, vegetable garden, flower bed), I can suggest the best method for that area.
