3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts
A simple “dump-and-go” recipe for tender, flavorful chicken breasts.
Ingredients
- 2–3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
Optional: ½ cup chicken broth if you prefer a thinner sauce
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Spread the cream of chicken soup on top.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 4–6 hours
- High: 2–3 hours
- Check that the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.
- Shred or slice and serve with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or vegetables.
Simple variations
- Add sliced mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Add garlic powder or black pepper if you like more seasoning.
- Stir in a little cream cheese during the last 30 minutes for a richer sauce.
Tip: Avoid overcooking chicken breasts in a slow cooker—they can become dry if left on heat too long.
