3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts

3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts

A simple “dump-and-go” recipe for tender, flavorful chicken breasts.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

Optional: ½ cup chicken broth if you prefer a thinner sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Spread the cream of chicken soup on top.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • Low: 4–6 hours
    • High: 2–3 hours
  5. Check that the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.
  6. Shred or slice and serve with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or vegetables.

Simple variations

  • Add sliced mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Add garlic powder or black pepper if you like more seasoning.
  • Stir in a little cream cheese during the last 30 minutes for a richer sauce.

Tip: Avoid overcooking chicken breasts in a slow cooker—they can become dry if left on heat too long.
