If you mean the two small symmetrical indentations on the lower back, those are usually called “dimples of Venus” (or back dimples).
They’re a normal anatomical feature caused by how the skin is tethered to the pelvis. They’re not a disease and don’t mean anything is wrong—they’re mostly genetic and just vary from person to person.
However, if you’re talking about actual open holes, sores, pain, discharge, or anything new that wasn’t always there, that’s different and could suggest an infection or skin condition and should be checked by a doctor.
