The Rosemary, Turmeric, and Cinnamon Tea That Thousands of Mexicans Are Drinking to Say Goodbye to Diabetes, Cholesterol, and Swollen Leg Pills!

That headline is not credible as written.

A tea made from Rosemary, Turmeric, and Cinnamon may be a pleasant herbal drink, and some of these ingredients have been studied for potential health benefits. However, there is no evidence that this tea can make people “say goodbye” to diabetes, high cholesterol, or the need for medications for swollen legs.

What the ingredients may do

🌿 Rosemary

  • Contains antioxidant compounds.
  • May have mild anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Evidence for major effects on diabetes or cholesterol is limited.

🟡 Turmeric

  • Contains curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Some studies suggest small improvements in certain metabolic markers.
  • Effects are generally modest and not a replacement for medical treatment.

🟤 Cinnamon

  • Some research suggests it may have a small effect on blood sugar control in some people.
  • Results are mixed, and the effect is usually much smaller than prescription diabetes medications.

⚠️ Claims that are not supported

This tea does not:

  • Cure Type 2 Diabetes
  • Eliminate high cholesterol
  • Replace prescribed medications
  • Treat the underlying causes of leg swelling

Leg swelling can result from conditions such as heart failure, venous insufficiency, kidney disease, liver disease, or medication side effects. These require proper evaluation.

Possible risks

Even “natural” ingredients can cause problems:

  • Cinnamon in large amounts may affect the liver (depending on the type).
  • Turmeric may interact with blood thinners.
  • Herbal products can interact with medications.
