Ingredients
- 2 slices bread (white, brown, or sourdough)
- 2–4 tablespoons grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
- 1–2 teaspoons butter (optional but improves crispiness)
- Black pepper or chili flakes (optional)
- Oregano or mixed herbs (optional)
Instructions (Air Fryer Method)
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 2–3 minutes.
- Prepare bread
- Lightly butter one side of each slice (optional but recommended).
- Place bread butter-side down in the air fryer basket or tray.
- Add cheese
- Spread grated cheese evenly on top.
- Add seasonings if you like (oregano, chili flakes, pepper).
- Air fry
- Cook at 180°C for 4–6 minutes
- Stop when cheese is melted and edges are golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately
- Best eaten hot while cheese is stretchy and toast is crisp.
Tips for better results
- Use a mix of mozzarella (for stretch) + cheddar (for flavor)
- Don’t overload cheese or it may drip
