Baked Potato

A Baked Potato is a potato cooked in its skin until the inside becomes soft and fluffy.

Simple baked potato recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Wash and dry a large potato (such as a russet).
  3. Prick it several times with a fork.
  4. Rub lightly with oil and sprinkle with salt (optional).
  5. Bake for 45–60 minutes, depending on size, until a fork slides in easily.
  6. Cut open and fluff the inside with a fork.

  • Cheese
  • Chives or green onions
  • Baked beans
  • Chili
  • Tuna and sweetcorn
