There is no drink that can quickly increase blood circulation in your legs in the way many viral posts claim. If you have poor circulation because of a medical condition, a beverage will not unblock arteries or restore blood flow.
To understand how blood circulates through the body and legs:

Some drinks and dietary patterns may support overall cardiovascular health over time, but their effects are modest:
- Water: Staying hydrated helps maintain normal blood volume.
- Unsweetened tea (especially green or black tea): May support heart health as part of a balanced diet.
- Beetroot juice: Some studies suggest it may temporarily improve blood vessel function and exercise performance in some people because it contains dietary nitrates.
- Pomegranate juice: Contains antioxidants, but evidence that it significantly improves leg circulation is limited.
If you’re concerned about leg circulation, these measures generally have stronger evidence than any drink:
- Walk regularly or do other appropriate exercise.
- Avoid smoking.
- Control blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes.
- Maintain a healthy weight.
- If you sit for long periods, get up and move every hour.
Seek prompt medical attention if you have:
- Sudden pain, coldness, or paleness in one leg.
- A swollen, painful, warm, or red leg (which could indicate a blood clot).
- Non-healing sores on your feet or legs.
