Air-fried Crispy Cauliflower

Air-Fried Crispy Cauliflower

A crunchy, flavorful cauliflower snack or side dish that’s easy to make with minimal oil.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or panko (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the cauliflower florets.
  2. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add breadcrumbs and Parmesan if using, and mix until the florets are lightly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for a few minutes.
  5. Place cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
  6. Air fry for 12–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dip, such as yogurt sauce, tahini sauce, or a spicy dip.

Tips for Extra Crispiness

  • Dry the cauliflower well before seasoning.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • Add a little extra seasoning after cooking for a stronger flavor.

Enjoy as a snack, appetizer, or a crunchy vegetable side dish.

You can also make it spicy, cheesy, or low-carb/keto-friendly by adjusting the coating and seasonings.
