Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Brown Sugar Pork Chops

A simple sweet-and-savory slow cooker meal with minimal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1–1½ inches thick)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

Instructions

  1. Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the brown sugar and garlic over the pork.
  3. Pour the soy sauce over everything.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • Low: 5–6 hours
    • High: 2½–3 hours
(Cook until the pork reaches a safe internal temperature of 145°F / 63°C with a short rest time.)
  5. Spoon some of the sauce from the slow cooker over the chops before serving.

Serving ideas

  • Mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the sauce
  • Steamed green beans, broccoli, or carrots
  • A simple salad for balance

Tips

  • For more flavor, sear the pork chops in a pan for 1–2 minutes per side before slow cooking.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, simmer the cooking liquid briefly in a saucepan or thicken it with a small cornstarch slurry after cooking.
