Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Brown Sugar Pork Chops
A simple sweet-and-savory slow cooker meal with minimal prep.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1–1½ inches thick)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
Instructions
- Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and garlic over the pork.
- Pour the soy sauce over everything.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 5–6 hours
- High: 2½–3 hours
(Cook until the pork reaches a safe internal temperature of 145°F / 63°C with a short rest time.)
- Spoon some of the sauce from the slow cooker over the chops before serving.
Serving ideas
- Mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the sauce
- Steamed green beans, broccoli, or carrots
- A simple salad for balance
Tips
- For more flavor, sear the pork chops in a pan for 1–2 minutes per side before slow cooking.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, simmer the cooking liquid briefly in a saucepan or thicken it with a small cornstarch slurry after cooking.
