Homemade floor cleaner, with this mixture it will be like new

That kind of claim is mostly marketing language—there’s no single “magic mixture” that makes every floor look brand new. But you can make an effective, safe homemade floor cleaner depending on your floor type.

Here are reliable options:

🧼 Simple Homemade Floor Cleaner (works for most floors)

Ingredients

  • 1 bucket warm water
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 1–2 teaspoons mild dish soap

How to use

  • Mix well in a bucket
  • Mop as usual
  • Let air dry

Best for: tile, vinyl, sealed floors

✨ For extra shine (tile & ceramic floors)

  • Add a few drops of lemon juice or essential oil (optional)
  • Mop lightly, then go over with clean water if needed

⚠️ Important safety note

  • Do NOT use vinegar on marble, granite, or natural stone (it can damage the surface)
  • Avoid mixing vinegar with bleach (toxic gas risk)

🪵 For wooden floors

  • 1 liter warm water
  • 1–2 teaspoons mild dish soap
  • Very well-wrung mop (barely damp)

Wood floors should never be soaked.

🧽 Real expectation

This will:

  • Remove light dirt and grease
  • Improve shine
  • Freshen smell

But it will not repair scratches, worn polish, or deep stains.

If you tell me what type of floor you have (tiles, marble, wood, vinyl), I can give you a perfect mix just for that surface.
