Tips for Creamier Mashed Potatoes
- Use warm milk rather than cold.
- Don’t overmix with a blender or food processor, or the potatoes can become gluey.
- Add roasted garlic, chives, or cheese for extra flavor.
Variations
- Garlic mashed potatoes: Mix in roasted garlic.
- Cheesy mashed potatoes: Add shredded cheddar or parmesan.
- Healthier version: Replace some butter with plain Greek yogurt.
Mashed potatoes pair well with roasted chicken, grilled fish, meatloaf, stews, and many vegetable dishes. 🍽️🥔
