The claim “one ingredient will keep a peace lily blooming for up to 10 years in a row” is an exaggeration. There is no single ingredient that can guarantee continuous blooming for a decade. A peace lily’s flowers depend on proper care, not a miracle product.
What Really Helps a Peace Lily Bloom
1. Use a Balanced Fertilizer
During spring and summer, feed your peace lily with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 6–8 weeks, following the label directions. Too much fertilizer can damage the roots and reduce flowering.
2. Provide Bright, Indirect Light
Peace lilies grow in low light but bloom best in bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
3. Water Correctly
- Water when the top 2–3 cm (about 1 inch) of soil feels dry.
