Melt-in-the-Mouth Apple Cake Recipe 🍎
This soft and fluffy Apple cake is made with simple ingredients like apples, eggs, and milk. It comes out moist, light, and literally melts in your mouth.
🍏 Ingredients
- 3 apples (peeled, sliced or grated)
- 3 eggs
- 1 glass of milk (about 200–250 ml)
- 1 cup flour (maida or all-purpose flour)
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup oil or melted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
- A pinch of salt
- Cinnamon powder (optional, for extra flavor)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the apples
Peel and slice or grate the apples. If you like extra softness, grating works best.
2. Make the batter
In a large bowl:
- Beat the eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy
- Add milk, oil (or butter), and vanilla essence
- Mix well
3. Add dry ingredients
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt
- Mix until smooth (don’t overmix)
4. Add apples
- Fold in the apples gently
- Add cinnamon if using
5. Bake
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Pour batter into a greased baking pan
- Bake for 35–45 minutes
- Check with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done
6. Cool and serve
Let it cool slightly before cutting. The texture becomes even softer as it rests.
🍰 Tips for Extra Soft Cake
- Use juicy apples like Fuji or Gala
- Don’t overbake (it can dry the cake)
- Add a little extra milk if batter feels thick
