🥔 Crispy Parmesan-Crusted Roasted Potatoes
These potatoes come out golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a savory Parmesan crust.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb (700 g) baby potatoes or small potatoes, halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven
- Heat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Line a baking sheet or roasting pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Parmesan coating
- In a small bowl, mix Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Season the potatoes
- Toss the potatoes with olive oil until evenly coated.
- Create the crust
- Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the baking sheet.
- Place the potatoes cut-side down on top of the cheese mixture.
- Roast
- Bake for 30–40 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the Parmesan forms a deep golden crust.
- Serve
- Let rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Carefully lift the potatoes with a spatula so the crispy crust stays attached.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.
