Creamy Cheesy Beef Bowtie Pasta Recipe

This is a rich, comforting pasta dish made with ground beef, a creamy cheese sauce, and bowtie pasta (farfalle). It’s quick, filling, and perfect for a family dinner.

🛒 Ingredients

  • 300–400 g Bowtie Pasta (Farfalle)
  • 250–300 g Ground Beef
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cream (optional but makes it richer)
  • 1 to 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning

🍝 Instructions

1. Cook the pasta

  • Boil water with salt
  • Cook bowtie pasta until al dente
  • Drain and set aside (reserve a little pasta water)

2. Cook the beef

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft
  • Add ground beef
  • Cook until browned and fully cooked
  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika

3. Make the creamy sauce

  • Lower the heat
  • Add milk and cream to the beef
  • Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes
  • Add cheddar cheese gradually, stirring until melted and smooth

👉 If sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water.

4. Combine everything

  • Add cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce
  • Mix until pasta is fully coated
  • Let it cook together for 1–2 minutes

🧀 Serving Suggestions

  • Top with extra cheese
  • Sprinkle parsley or chili flakes
  • Serve hot with garlic bread or salad

🔥 Tips for Best Taste

  • Use freshly grated cheese (melts better)
  • Don’t overcook pasta (it should stay firm)
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg for deeper creamy flavor
  • For extra richness, mix mozzarella with cheddar
