Creamy Homemade Strawberry Liqueur
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup vodka (or white rum)
- 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the strawberries)
Instructions
- Infuse the strawberries
- Place the strawberries in a clean glass jar.
- Pour the vodka over them, seal the jar, and let it steep for 3–7 days in a cool, dark place, shaking once a day.
- Strain
- Strain out the strawberries through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
- Blend
- In a blender, combine the strawberry-infused vodka, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, whole milk, and vanilla.
- Blend until smooth. Taste and add sugar if you’d like it sweeter.
- Bottle
- Pour into a sterilized bottle or jar.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
