Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb (450 g) boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles or pasta
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken
- Toss chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Cook the chicken
- Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes until browned and mostly cooked through.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Make the noodles
- Add the remaining butter to the same pan.
- Sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add noodles and cook according to package directions, stirring occasionally.
- Finish the dish
- Return chicken to the pan and cook until heated through and noodles are tender.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese if using.
- Garnish with parsley.
