Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

Here’s a simple and delicious teriyaki chicken recipe you can make at home.


🍗 Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken (boneless, thighs or breast)
  • 2 tbsp oil

Teriyaki sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (rice vinegar or white vinegar)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1) Prepare the chicken

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces
  • Lightly season with salt and pepper

2) Cook the chicken

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Fry chicken until golden and cooked through

3) Make the sauce

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and water
  • Add cornstarch if you want a thicker sauce

4) Combine

  • Pour sauce into the pan with chicken
  • Simmer for 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens and coats chicken

5) Serve

  • Serve hot with rice or noodles
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if available

🍽 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, marinate chicken in sauce for 30 minutes before cooking
  • Add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for a complete meal
  • Adjust sweetness or saltiness to taste
