That statement is misleading. There is no single vitamin that automatically explains all leg and bone pain.
Different deficiencies can cause similar symptoms, and often the real cause is not a vitamin at all.
Vitamins that can be linked to bone or leg pain
1) Vitamin D
- Low levels can cause:
- Bone pain
- Muscle weakness (especially legs)
- Back pain
- This is one of the most common nutritional causes of bone discomfort
2) Vitamin B12
- Deficiency can cause:
- Tingling or burning in legs/feet
- Nerve pain
- Balance problems
- This is more “nerve pain” than true bone pain
3) Calcium (mineral, not vitamin)
- Low calcium can contribute to:
- Muscle cramps
- Bone weakness (long-term)
Important truth doctors emphasize
Leg or bone pain is often NOT a vitamin problem. Other common causes include:
- Arthritis
- Sciatica or nerve compression
- Peripheral artery disease
- Diabetes-related nerve damage
- Vitamin D deficiency (only one possibility, not the only one)
