A sweet, buttery side dish that comes together quickly and pairs well with grilled meats, roasted chicken, or holiday meals.
Ingredients
- 4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned and drained)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the butter and let it melt.
- Stir in the corn and cook for about 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly golden.
- Add honey and salt, then stir until the corn is evenly coated.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes and serve warm.
Optional additions
- A pinch of black pepper for contrast
- A sprinkle of chili flakes or paprika for a little heat
- A spoonful of cream cheese for a richer, creamier version
For frozen corn, there’s no need to thaw first—just cook a few extra minutes until heated through.
