Low-Carb 3-Ingredient Salmon PattiesA simple, protein-rich recipe with minimal ingredients and no breadcrumbs.
Ingredients (makes about 4 patties)
- 1 can (about 14–15 oz / 400 g) salmon, drained and flaked
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, parmesan, or mozzarella)
Instructions
- Prepare the mixture: In a bowl, combine the salmon, eggs, and shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Form patties: Shape the mixture into 4 small patties. If the mixture feels soft, chill it for 10–15 minutes to help it firm up.
- Cook: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a little oil or butter. Cook patties for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden and heated through.
- Serve: Enjoy with a salad, low-carb vegetables, or a sauce such as garlic mayo, lemon yogurt sauce, or avocado dip.
Approximate nutrition (per patty, depending on ingredients):
- Low in carbs (usually ~1–2 g net carbs)
- High in protein
- Moderate fat from salmon, eggs, and cheese
Optional additions that keep it low-carb: chopped parsley, dill, lemon zest, black pepper, or a pinch of garlic powder.
