Drinking water properly is less about following strict rules and more about staying consistently hydrated throughout the day.

  • Drink water regularly rather than waiting until you’re very thirsty.
  • Increase your intake during hot weather, exercise, illness, or when sweating heavily.
  • Pay attention to the color of your urine; pale yellow usually indicates adequate hydration.
