Don’t throw away your orange peels! They can be dried and used for homemade recipes, teas, crafts, or natural fragrances.

Method 1: Air Drying

  1. Wash oranges well and peel them.
  2. Remove as much of the white pith as you can (it can taste bitter).
  3. Cut the peels into small strips.
  4. Spread them on a clean tray in a dry, well-ventilated place.
  5. Let them dry for several days until they become hard and brittle.

Method 2: Oven Drying

  1. Place peel pieces on a baking tray.
  2. Dry at a low temperature (around 90–100°C / 200–210°F) for about 1–2 hours, checking regularly.
  3. Cool completely before storing.

Store dried orange peel in an airtight container away from moisture and sunlight. 🍊✨
