This is how to have geraniums full of flowers: you have to water them like this to keep them always leafy.

If you’re asking whether the claim is true, the answer is: not exactly.

Geraniums stay healthy and produce lots of flowers because of overall care, not because of one special watering method.

To encourage abundant blooms:

  • Water deeply when the top 2–3 cm (about 1 inch) of soil feels dry.
  • Avoid overwatering, as constantly wet soil can cause root rot.
  • Ensure the pot or garden bed has good drainage.
  • Place geraniums in 6–8 hours of direct sunlight each day.
  • Feed them with a balanced or bloom-promoting fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during the growing season.
  • Remove spent flowers (deadheading) to encourage new blooms.

Social media posts that say “water them like this” often suggest homemade mixtures (such as coffee grounds, milk, yeast, or baking soda). There is no reliable evidence that these treatments consistently produce more flowers, and some can even harm plants if overused.

If you have a specific watering recipe or video in mind, share it and I can explain whether it’s likely to help or harm your geraniums.
